Ever wanted to get into the mind of a wedding planner and ask all those questions you’ve had on your mind since you got engaged? Well, here’s your chance. Oh Happy Day offers a creative consulting service which is suitable for a variety of celebrations. If you are a bride, these consults will offer you the opportunity to know what goes into planning a wedding. We give you tips and offer a run-through analysis of what brides need to organise for their wedding day if they aren’t hiring a planner, including points to consider for your timeline and production schedule. On a creative level, we discuss your vision and expectations for your wedding day and make vendor recommendations if you need assistance. If you are planning a special celebration like a milestone birthday or a bridal shower the same details will apply.

Creative Wedding Consults

Consults are held on Wednesdays, and are dependent on availability. They are held mid-week due to our weekend wedding bookings, which take us out of the office from Thursdays to Mondays. We meet you at a place that’s most convenient to you (normally a coffee shop near you, during your lunch break or after hours). Consults can also be done via Skype if you are living abroad or in another province.

Our creative consults generally last between 60 to 90 minutes and cost R1,092.50 inc vat. Once we have received payment for your booking, a questionnaire will sent to you that will need to be completed and sent back to Oh Happy Day within 48 hours of your booking.

Should you decide to book our planning services for your wedding, then this cost is refunded to you on your final invoice.
